I’d be curious (as you can tell – I’m typically pretty curious, lol) to hear from other Superintendents that use Transfinder in your Transportation Departments. .. how is that software working for you?

Hi Heather. Your plan sounds like the right way to go. It’s hard to generate a sense of urgency, given the timeline and the uncertainty regarding details. On the other hand, if one simply waits for another year to pass, there may not be enough time to make changes and get support of the new system.

I plan to use a similar strategy and get folks together to discuss ideas that will likely impact our evaluation system. I do think working with folks will be best but I know there is a group working on this topic and they have to at least identify some component examples prior to September.   What about any of the TIF schools already working on this? I’ve heard presentations from RSU 12, and from MSAD 74. . . but these were to larger groups. .. I wonder if Superintendents of these school systems would be open to having a small group come up and meet with your working groups to discuss not only the product (or where it is right now)…[Read more]
