    Read Carol Trimble’s message on meartsed blog as she accepted her award at the state Youth Art Month exhibit earlier this month at the Portland Museum of Art. The Arts Advocacy award was presented by the Maine Art Education Association.

    I spent this morning at JC Stone in Jefferson brainstorming ideas on how to involve art teachers and their students in the sculpture symposium scheduled there for September 4-15, 2012. Very exciting!

    I spent the day with the Maine Cohort for Customized Learning VPA teachers and I am giving a great deal of thought to how we can cross pollinate the Maine Arts Assessment Initiative work with their work. A fun little challenge!
