OUR ”growth” mindset means that we believe that even people who BELIEVE in a ”fixed” mindset continue to learn vibrantly through life. We all have experience of facing a ”fixed” opponent … only to have them come around.

Learner-Centered Education 8 months, 1 week agoCheck out the new issue of the Journal of Maine Education, which has an interview with Commissioner Bowen focusing heavily on learner centered education, but, just as importantly, has a fantastic piece by Doug Lynch (professor and chair of the education department at the University of New England).
