Remember those Sony Mavica cameras?…..what were they….one megapixel? hah! In an ideal world……………I have noticed many students struggling with doing more than required……….so…what do we require?…….the minimum?……middle?……..Who determines the needs are met?…..and when?……and how is that person determined to have met a standard? (sports official?)
My approach is that If I provide different ways of reaching proficiency in a standard, then, most students will achieve it. I’m designing some ”mini assessments” that could help build students achieve proficiency gradually. This will take a long time though! One thought is to have blind scoring done by art teachers other than myself to provide…[Read more]
